Thomas of Eccleston was a thirteenth-century English Franciscan chronicler who wrote De Adventu Fratrum Minorum in Angliam, which records events from the coming of the Franciscans to England under Agnellus of Pisa in 1224 to about 1258. He entered the order in 1232-3 and was a student at Oxford between 1230 and 1240. TLM
